Weighing only 300 g and the size of two cuts - Gjöll is a water-repellent windbreaker (MFR 9) and the perfect addition to your softshell clothing. It is not waterproof. Its primary purpose is to be inconspicuously hidden in a backpack and save your life, for example, in a situation where the weather changes quickly in the mountains and you are without quick help. However, it is also great for other purposes - as an additional layer under/on top of a softshell jacket, as an insulating layer for a sleeping bag when you underestimate the temperature, etc.
