First, remove the broken part of the holder mount from the transducer, a straightforward process using a hack saw. Just cut it starting from the inside of the mount, using the top of the transducer as a guide. It's essential to be cautious not to damage the wires or the transducer itself during this step.


Then slide on this new holder and secure the top angle adjustment part of the holder into the original stainless steel bracket. The transducer fits snugly into the new mount and on transducer, as an added option, you can secure it further with a 5mm grub set screw, 12mm in length, through the hole at the top of the mount, although not always required.


Tested at boat speeds up to approximately 40 kilometres per hour.
