Description:

This Korean ginger jar is classic.  It's decorated with two Peony flowers twigs surrounding the body and Ruyi scepter on the shoulder.  It's unusual is that the decoration technique is Japanese stencil print, which is very rarely used by Korean potter.  

The marking on the bottom is un-decipher.  It's make during Japanese occupation, circa 1910 and 1945.

This Ginger storage jar is approx. 5.75"W X 4.8"H (21.59 cm).

Shipping weight with double boxing is approx. 4 lbs.

Condition:

Inside the jar, there's TWO shallow crossed hairlines. These hairlines do not show on the outside. There's no other damage such as chips. . Please study photos carefully for further condition detail.

Age / Dating: Korean, Japanese occupation, circa 1910 and 1945.
