Vintage "French inspired" painted 4 poster with drapes king size bed with new pine base
This bed has been hand painted in Farrow & Ball "Drop Cloth" a timeless neutral then hand finished with a white wax so to achieve a rustic authentic French look and add protection to the finished surface.
This is a super Vintage 4 poster king size bed. The bed has a slightly curved, panelled and carved head and tail which is repeated on the top rails. The bed has 4 matching posts with finial tops. The bed has new white sheer drapes and tie backs and a new slatted pine base with a central supporting divide.
The bed divides into sections, headboard end, tailboard end, 2 side rails, 2 top rails, pine slats and central divide (with the head and tail being the largest parts).
Dimensions are: max. width 1630mm. total headboard height 2000mm.
total tailboard height 2000mm. max. overall length 2135mm. base/mattress height 300mm.
As with all vintage/used and antique items please remember they are not brand new and will always show signs of age and use, this is generally accepted with antique and used furniture, with the pictures forming part of the description. Tassels and props are for display only.
