A beautiful painting of a stream

Signed and dated

This was bought by my mother in around 1978 for £54 - from memory it was purchased in Pembrokeshire on her travels

She has always understood it to be an original. I have not had it authenticated

There is some foxing to the mouth and possibly to the painting itself although it’s hard to tell given the abstract nature and colouring of the painting

Such a subtle and elegant piece

Some age related wear to frame to be expected

It has not been examined out of the frame so impossible to state if it is stuck down or not. The frame and mount appear to be original.
