This Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster, built in 2020, and owned by me since it’s purchase from JG Windows in Newcastle, is a beautifully crafted guitar with a solid India Ivory finish on an alder body, with beautifully authentic lacquer checking and marks, scratches and wear that complete the vintage experience.

The 21 narrow-tall frets on the maple fingerboard provide a smooth playing experience and the exposed, worn neck is a joy to hold.

The guitar comes with the G&G hard case and all associated case candy, including Fender CS strap, picks, owners manual, sticker and catalog, as well as tremolo bar and additional trem springs.

I’m only selling as I need to raise funds for a specific project and already have a “lifer” strat, so although this is a special and unique instrument, I must regretfully make it available for sale.

The Fat 50’s pickups were a particular revelation for me having only used 60’s and modern style strat pickups, as they have a throaty, higher output without sacrificing that crystal clear strat sparkle.

There are two concessions to modernity; with a 5 way pickup selector switch to allow easy access to all classic strat tones, and the middle tone control works on both the middle and bridge pickup.

No changes made to the stock instrument, and the guitar was set up just recently and assured of its saleability by KGB Music in Birkenhead.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
