Solodallas Schaffer Replica Effect Pedal

This is the original pedal version of Solodallas's deeply researched emulation of AC/DC's, Angus Young's, legendary 'how did he get that sound?' effect circuitry, in a stomp box format, rather than the studio tower.  They were made in limited numbers so have always been difficult to find (and pricey).  Solodallas describe it as:

"Boost your sound to no limit!

The Schaffer Replica by Solodallas is a so called compander, a 100% analog pedal effect that houses a compressor and an expander in one box using SMD components. The compact pedal is a replica of the original Schaffer-Vega Diversity System and brings the famous sound heard on albums such as AC/DC’s Back in Black and Highway to Hell. The TRS delivers a warm, clear and full tone and brings the sound of your signal to the foreground, a clean boost of up to 30db can be reached. The Solodallas “The Schaffer Replica” is a handcrafted and extremely versatile pedal effect that is loved by many genres."

This pedal is the original stomp box version, not the later, cheaper, arguably thinner sounding version.  It's an 'always leave on' type of pedal and gives a sound that you really notice when it's not there.  I've run SGs, Les Pauls and my Jazzmasters through it and all sound just that bit more stellar.  Very much a pro-quality pedal and still very hard to get hold of in the UK.  Boxed, with manual and the supplied power supply in excellent unmarked condition.  A very reluctant sale.

 Priced to sell.
