This rare postcard shows Che Guevara holding the hand of his daughter Hildita and accompanied by Antonio Nunez Jimenez. The postcard have the back divided and is unused and never been posted. Brand new condition. Approx. size 6.25 x 4.25 inches (16 cm x 11 cm.). Look scan.


 

About: Antonio Núñez Jiménez (born April 20, 1923 in Alquízar, Cuba, and died September 13, 1998 in Havana) was a Cuban revolutionary, anthropologist, geographer and speleologist. In the late 1950s, Antonio Núñez Jiménez joined Fidel Castro's rebel forces and participated in the Cuban Revolution with the rank of captain. After the fall of Fulgencio Batista, he held several important positions, including director of the National Institute of Agrarian Reform, president of the Academy of Sciences, and Cuban ambassador to Peru. He also succeeded Che Guevara as head of the National Bank of Cuba.
