Incredible Antique Wood Folk Art Tramp Art Wood Frame 17 3/4 x 15 7/8

I have been buying and selling  antique frames for 40 years and have always loved the tramp art/folk art frames.

This has to be the most incredible one I have ever seen in this size.

17 3/4" long (from point to opposite point), 15 7/8" wide(from point to opposite point)

Approx 9 5/8" by 7 5/8  opening for  picture(dimensions are measured tight up against the interior edges)  

Each  shape is 5 graduated  layers high.  I  can't even imagine how long it took the person to complete this awesome piece.

Amazing what some people can do when they put their mind to it.

Amazingly preserved,with  only a thin piece chipped off the top of one piece on one  of the tops of the longest pieces.  The frame is so busy , you really don't notice it much at all.
