offered is a very nice 1930's Otto's Lager Beer advertising promotional pocket Brown & Bigelow "Redilite" figural Bakelite beer bottle petrol lighter. the "Redilite" tube lighter was first invented by Howard Fischer for Brown & Bigelow in 1929. B&B were important manufacturers of promotional advertising lighters including this tubular cased bottle model sitting in a thick Bakelite body. this model Bakelite bottle is the nicest of all the Redilite and Kem figural novelty advertising bottle lighters. please view the photos to see how nice the Bakelite casing is. this bottle is also taller and nicer quality than the Kem figural bottles. B&B also manufactured the planters peanut promotional lighter and many other novelties. the lighter measures 3" tall x 3/4" across and is in excellent unused white wick condition. the insert with some typical excess flint dust - is marked B&B with patent as shown. there is slight age to plastic and the celluloid label has mild color fading that slightly detracts. the top and bottom of bottle are not a tight fit. overall - a fun vintage unused 1930's novelty miniature figural Bakelite beer bottle advertising lighter for your collection
