I purchased this Native American/Indian doll from the estate auction of a military surgeon about 30 years ago - it was wrapped with a Grey Eagle rug. Doll is 12" tall and made of leather and cloth and firmly stuffed, lots of bead work and human hair braided wig. Leather has age staining and light stain around mouth/nose area. I do not know what tribe made this doll but it was probably for the tourist trade - I'm guessing around 1930-40's. A friend made a custom iron stand for it which I am including.
