If you see other listings stating “Overhauled,” be skeptical! Overhauled “to me” means that I purchased the Polaris - Zodiac 9-100-9010 Factory Tune-UP Replacement Kit and installed it. The kit provides replacements for almost everything in the sweep unit including gears, shaft, bearings, wheels, rubber tires, and more. The cost is about $70 for NIB eBay items 0r ~ $140 - $180 New.
Check the photos. They illustrate everything I thought to be important. We had the pool demolished seven months ago, and I’m selling the equipment.
What I did was to open the unit and check everything for condition & proper adjustment. Each device used to tension the belts is held in place with two small bolts. I replaced four with stainless steel bolts. For reference, those require a Torx T-15 driver. I have a note on one photo showing a nut and bolt that replaced a single bolt because the original fastener was stripped out. The backup valve is about 18 months old and works perfectly.
Note the many extras, including the new wheel bearings. Parts in the Ziplock bag aren’t guaranteed as they were in my spares box, and some were already used. The hoses are included, though I cannot guarantee the fit of the pressure hose that connects to the poolside fitting. It was cut to accommodate our pool’s size. You may have to cut it, or buy a piece to extend it.
