I just had the lens serviced by YYecamera in canton, MA. The lens was cleaned and the focus helical lubricated. The optics were cleaned to remove any haze. The lens is now clean and clear considering its age. It has been tested with a digital M body and the lens is in focus and the image contrast is good.
The focus and diaphragm work smoothly. No oil on the blades. There is no haze and no obvious scratches. No dents. The barrel shows some wear mainly near the serial number. You get the original caps.
