Aesthetic Movement Sterling Silver Table Servants Bell, Butterfly & Bird 1878
American sterling silver servants table bell by Gorham of Rhode Island, date letter K for 1878.
Very much influenced by the Aesthetic Movement of the time, featuring a bird on one side and a butterfly on the other.
Traces of gilt on both creature but I dare say this would have been a bit more prominent in 1878, so some loss due to polishing.
In excellent order with no damage and stands 105mm tall and 56mm across the base.
