2004 Annual Report Coin 

As the Royal Canadian Mint continues the count down to its centennial in 2008, the 2004 Annual Report features the great breakthrough coin of that year-the world's first circulation coloured coin. The Poppy Coloured Coin punctuated a remarkable year in the history of the Mint and gained international recognition as the flagship coin to demonstrate its latest innovations in minting.

The 2004 Annual Report proudly displays a limited edition Poppy Coin that features some very collectible enhancements! This sterling silver coin has been struck in proof finish and its poppy design, punctuated with gold plating, has been raised to create a relief of incomparable definition and shine. In addition, each annual report is accompanied by a serialized Certificate personally signed by the President and CEO of the Royal Canadian Mint. Only 15,000 of these proof Poppy Coins will be minted.
