I am pleased to be offering in the auction a vintage rare circa 1939 preserving clear glass jar made by Sutcliffe ( embossed on outside of jar ) with original double clip lid. Embossed underside reg no. believe to be 850936 . Jar holds approximately 24 fl ozs . The lid is showing its age  ( a little rusty , has original seal inside , still working ) . J W Sutcliffe & co were located Regent Street , London.  In good clean undamaged condition . Item weighs 517 grams unwrapped . Photo's form part of description and sale . Measurement approx .
