This is an adorable vintage Russian folk art candle holder by famed artist Natalia Pavlova. Made out of red ware clay, this 8"x 4.5" candle holder holds a taper candle. It has a sweet jester playing a balalaika with a bird resting on his shoulder and a clever cat joins in the fun. The backside is also decorated with a pretty town scene. The piece appears to have been repaired at some point. You can see crack lines but it secure and only noticeable upon close inspection.
