Cosmetically, this lens is in PRISTINE condition and produced fairly decent images when last coupled with

my Leica IIf. That was, however, over 12 years ago and there is now evidence of some kind of debris visible

when opened up all the way to f:1.8; at f:2.8, as can be seen in the photograph, it is not visible. Focus is butter

smooth, the aperture ring is a bit stiff but functions properly, some evidence of haze, light scratches and fungus

(not excessive), and some oil on the blades. Will ship with the original 42mm front push on lens cap and generic

rear lens cap.
