Antique 3-Diamond Edwardian Era Engagement Ring

This three stone Antique ring makes for quite the statement. All the diamonds are Old European Cut set in an illusion setting, designed to make a diamond look bigger than it actually is.
This is accomplished by a ring of metal surrounding the girdle of the diamond that is often brightly cut. This ring diffuses the outline of the stone causing it to look larger.
The ring is made in fine platinum, and in 18K Yellow Gold.
The center stone is Old European cut diamond estimated to be 0.15 ct and the two side stones are estimated to be 0.10 ct each.
Total diamond weight estimated 0.35 cts
The diamonds are in a star setting in platinum and the prongs are still secure holding the diamonds in place.
The ring has been engraved with the metal purity and it is written: 18 ct FINE PLAT and on the other side is written 7873, which may be the style number.
The ring is currently a size 7 US
