Spanstern red with chip trees This beautiful Christmas tree star has a diameter of 9.5 cm, is made entirely of hardwood and is hung on the Christmas tree with a thread. In the middle it has a small hub to which a small red octagonal star and 8 small chip trees are attached. The chip trees are all individually stabbed by hand with a sharp iron. About the company Handwerk Stefan Albrecht Erzgebirge folk art
His name is Stefan Albrecht. He was born and grew up in Klingenberg in the Eastern Ore Mountains. His wife comes from the toy village of Seiffen. Her parents both made the traditional Erzgebirge chip trees at home. He has been committed to this traditional craftsmanship for 20 years now. He also included the chip tree in Allen forms when developing and producing delicate Christmas tree decorations. Especially during the Christmas season, he strives to attract a large audience at shows in museums or to demonstrate and experience the old traditional Erzgebirge craftsmanship at Christmas markets
