GERD KNAPPER OCHOKO SAKE CUP - made in Japan c. 1995. Gerd Knapper (German, 1943 - 2012) was the first foreign national to establish a kiln in Japan, after studying under Suzuki Aoi and Shimaoka Tatsuzo. This small (ochoko) sake cup is marked GW on the bottom and has no chips or cracks. Includes original box and booklet.
