The Musical Fidelity X Series V3 offers high performance audio. It can, however, be instantly improved upon with superb results just by upgrading from the standard wall wart or upgraded Musical Fidelity external power supply.

The V3 series has a 12V – 0V – 12V ac input via a 3 pin din socket.

the X Series devices from Musical fidelity in V3 and V8 editions

This psu is suitable for

VERSION 8 X Series VALVE ITEMS:

XLps V8 phonostage

XCans V8 headphone amplifier

XCans V8P HPA and tube preamplifier

but NOT SUITABLE for some V8 models, like X-Ray or X-plora. It is also not suitable for the original ‘cylinder shaped’ range of X components.
