Presented is a wonderful antique Wavecrest opalware glass dresser box, dating to circa 1890-1910. The box is beautifully hand painted with a delicate design of pink flowers on leafy branches, against a fresh green background. The mounts of the box are brass, in a reeded collar around the midpoint. This is an uncommonly large Wavecrest box, great as a dresser box or small jewelry box, rather than the smaller size trinket boxes more commonly available for sale.

This piece is in excellent condition. The painted decoration is in great shape. The lid closes nicely. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.

The underside is signed Wavecrest, the C.F. Monroe Company.

The box measures about 7 inches in diameter and stands about 4 1/4 inches to the top of the lid.
