Vintage Lady's/Women's Straw Hat
We're describing the hat as in a pillbox style. It could also be known as a cocktail, tilt or fascinator hat.
The hat has the natural color of straw. It is accented with pleated twisted trim, which we'd describe as a light pink-tinted cream or beige color. The hat also is accented with a small feather. (see photos #1 & #3) The hat has a slightly rounded crown. It features a small brim hidden beneath the trim. The hat also has loops to secure a chin strap or tie (not included).
The hat holds its shape as its made of finely woven straw. The interior of the hat is banded with what appears to be wire which also forms the chin strap loops (see photos #7, #8 & #9). Both the wire loops and hat do flex with a little effort.
The hat is gently used with no fraying or signs of wear. It has been stored in a large hat box along with a couple other hats in the dark of the top of a closet.
We found no tags or markings to indicate make or other further information.

The hat comes from the smoke-free home of a relative.
