This is for a Vintage Painted Windsor Wheelback Carver Armchair.

Appears to have a reasonable amount of age and could be ideal as a Country Kitchen/Dining Chair, for a Desk/Dressing Table or one off piece for any room.

Has a distressed painted finish with darker wood showing through so most likely in Oak or Elm.  Painted in a very light blue and rubbed back to give a lovely finish.

Turned wood legs and 'H' shaped cross supports, deep turned wood supports to the curved arms, shaped seat and traditional back with bentwood outer rail, 8 spindles - 2 of which are splayed out at the base - and shaped central slat with pierce carved 'Wheel' design.

Marks associated with a painted finish of this nature, very minor cosmetic split from age to the bentwood rail - See Photos - lovely sturdy chair in good Vintage condition.

About 53cm across the arms, 38cm across the seat.  86cm high with the seat 43.5cm high.  Tops of the arms 65cm off the floor.
