Description: A nice example of the first printing of the first edition. Original cloth hardback in original dustwrapper. 

The jacket is not price clipped and still shows the original 10s 6d price to the inside of the front flap, it is in very attractive condition with some wear and creasing to the edges (see pictures). 

 The book itself is in attractive condition with titles remaining bright to the front cover, and some bumping and light marking to the boards (see pictures). Binding sound and square. Ownership signatures to the front free end paper. Internally clean with some pencil annotations to the contents page: "Yes", "No", "So-So" and against the Morris Hersham story "Puzzling". A very nice example. Scarce in the dustwrapper.
