Antique Victorian Lifesize Brass Chicken on Egg Box

This is an unusual & probably unique Victorian period repousse lifesize brass chicken box or vessel, circa late 1800's. The head removes for access to the body cavity. Later mounted on a wooden egg & base.

CONDITION residue of adhesive between the wooden egg & the base, the chicken has dents & wear in line with age & use - as per images

The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
