DESCRIPTION
A cast brass or bronze signet ring or
bronze pendant as part of a larger
ceremonial object, consisting of a cut
open (later) ring and a relief with the
pictogram of a cow.
NOTES
The high withers identifies the cow as
an Indian aurochs similar to a zebu,
the inscription appears to be Pali, a
writing system used for religious text
well into the 18th century in India and
other parts of Southeast Asia.
