This is a vintage Elgin pocket watch with a mechanical (manual) movement and 7 jewels. The watch is housed in a coin silver (80% silver) full hunter case with a silver color. It is a 6 size pocket watch size and was manufactured in 1887. The model is Model 1, Grade 95. Condition is nice. Some wear and the lid springs opens strongly to about 100 percent. A little more than it should. This is caused by not holding the lid when opening. Running and keeping time.
