Here we have my Bentley Arnage RL. This is a very rare car, extended 10 inches longer than a standard wheelbase Arnage. This is the 'red label' with the iconic Rolls Royce 6.75 litre V8, with a huge turbo charger. This is basically a Rolls Royce (Seraph) Park ward limousine, but in my opinion fitted with a better power unit than the BMW powered Rolls Royce that has the normally aspirated V12. More bhp and more torque. Despite its bulk, The Arnage wafts along as only a Bentley can, changing through the gears seamlessly, the massive tourque providing a 0-60 in 5.5 seconds on to a limited top speed of 155 m.p.h. 400 b.h.p.
The coachwork presents very well in what i consider to be the best colour scheme for one of these cars in black sapphire with a virtually un marked Autumn leather interior. Autumn is the name Bentley gave to the interior colour, as per pictures. The carpets are in Nautic blue.
The Bentley is mechanically perfect having covered only 85,000 miles with the benefit of a virtually comprehensive service history. The service book is full with 10 services all main dealer or marque specialists up to 69,760 miles. Then there is a sheaf of bills from Shadow services, Pudsey, Leeds. Leather interior with no rips or tears, wood work is excellent.
I have the original Bentley order sheet (BICS - Bentley internet communication system), and all the old mot cerificates. The Bentley was mot'd on June 21st at 85,482 miles and has been used sparingly having now covered 85,570. this will creep up as i will give it a run each week.
The Bentley has all the usual refinements, too many to list, one particular feature that i really like is the veneered door panels.
