Francis Dodd was a painter of realistic portraits, landscapes and genre. He was also a talented etcher. Dodd studied at Glasgow School of Art, after which he visited Paris, Italy and later Spain. He settled in Manchester 1895, then moved to London in 1904. Dodd exhibited at the New English Art Club and was also an official War Artist.

Age- c1910

Size- 14 by 17 inches approx including mount, image 9 by 12 inches approx

Medium- Watercolours 

Frame- Later mount, unframed. 

Condition- Showing its age with some light fading and a little paper browning in places. 

Signature- Lower right.
