"Pride and Joy" is an original signed water colour painting by Northern Soul artist Neil Thompson.

The painting shows a scooter boy on his blue and yellow scooter, fully loaded with headlamps, mirrors and air horns. The painting is highly detailed and beautifully captures the essence of the Northern Soul and Mod genre.

This is an original piece of art, there are no copies or prints. All Neil's work is done from memory, he's been on the Northern Soul and scooter scene since the early 1970's. His work is regarded by many as an iconic part of the Northern Soul scene.

The painting measures 13 cm tall by 10 cm wide on 300 gram textured art paper (the paper measures 28 cm by 20 cm).
