Vintage / Antique Solid Copper Tipped Soldering Iron
With Hardwood Handle
Possibly Ex Military 1960's, (no markings, I had this in the Army)
The age is unknown, Possibly early to mid 20th century
In good and clean used condition, shows signs of age and use
The shaft and ferule suffered from corrosion and is pitted
The handle has a couple of minor splits, does not affect its use
It looks like this would have had a makers badge on the end of the handle
This has been cleaned, lightly oiled and waxed for protection
Total Length approx 111/2 inch
Handle 5 inch, Tip 2 inch x 1/2"
Weight approx 200 gram
