Certainly - yes - it is VERY genuine - and a nice piece - and if it was in the trendy vintage furnishing shops in London - you'd be looking at £600-700 (maybe more).

Has locking mechanism, but disconnected (as key lost and way to easy to accidentally push the lock mechanism and seal it!)
