Ai Weiwei Genuine Porcelain Sunflower Seeds - from TATE Modern 2010.

I have 25 seeds for sale.

Kui Hua Zi (Sunflower Seeds) is an art installation created by contemporary artist and political activist Ai Weiwei. It was first exhibited at the Tate Modern art gallery in London from 12 October 2010 to 2 May 2011. The work consisted of one hundred million individually hand-crafted porcelain sunflower seeds which filled the gallery's 1,000 square metre Turbine Hall to depth of ten centimetres.

Each seed is approximately 2cm x 1cm x 0.8cm.

Stay away from those Chinese fakes for sale on eBay! These seeds are 100% authentic. I purchased these from a gallery in Jerusalem who acquired them from the Israeli national museum who were gifted the seeds by the artist following Ai Weiwei’s ‘Maybe, Maybe not’ exhibition in the museum that took place in 2017. Link to the exhibition below:

I have all the documentation confirming authenticity including a signed letter on headed paper from the museum (copy will be sent) as well as a signed certificate of authenticity from the gallery.

Worldwide shipping.

They will be individually wrapped and packed securely with tracked postage for piece of mind.

Thank you!
