How Keep cool and dry?

The base layer directly in contact with your skin helps your body’s natural defenses against overheating. Fabrics facilitate homeostasis (heat regulation) with adequate moisture management during exercise in hot conditions (your body inside not the weather). We added 66% polypropylene into fabric so that our base layer has stronger moisture absorption and perspiration, speed up the heat discharge during intense exercise and keep the body cool dry.

Seamless comfortable

Newest technology, real seamless no Stitch, perfect neckline binding, comfortable wear, frictionless makes it more close to the body.

Tight to your body

This base layer will be tight, the fabric will hug your every curve without being restrictive to your movements and breathing. It’s important to have as much surface area as possible in contact with your body in order for the material to do its job of transporting moisture away from your skin and allowing the evaporative process to function efficiently.

4-Way stretch, 300% Extensibility

‘The type and structure of a base layer needs to change in summer, but the principle remains the same,’ says Graeme Raeburn, lead designer for clothing manufacturer Rapha.
‘Sweat accumulating on your skin needs to be removed by wicking to help keep you comfortable and regulate your body temperature. I’d recommend wearing a base layer in all weathers. It’s just a question of choosing the right one for the conditions.
DAREVIE base layer 4-way stretch, high elasticity to 300% Extensibility, no wrinkle, wear resistance, high quality with beautiful price.

High performance at cool dry

‘Jersey fabrics might be required to do lots of things – look aesthetically pleasing, be aero, take a sublimation print or embroidery, be dyed to a particular color and so on – all of which can affect their functionality, but a dedicated next-to-skin layer enables the fabric to target just one thing: wicking sweat, and therefore taking heat away from the body to keep the wearer cool and dry.
'So a purpose-designed summer base layer can be more effective at moving sweat and taking away body heat [than just a jersey] because the structure can have a much bigger surface area for the sweat to evaporate from than bare skin or a more closed jersey fabric.’
Omar Visentin, director of R&D at high-end Swiss brand Assos, seems to share Raeburn’s views.
We DAREVIE used the simplest breathable holes design and cool dry material in order to maintain high performance in moisture absorption and perspiration.

Q1:Why wear a base layer when you wear a cycling jersey or jacket?

DAREVIE base layer is 3D cutting close fitting, which can more completely contact with the skin. However, there is a big gap between the cycling jersey and the body skin. Our base layer can absorb sweat from the skin through fabric with fast water absorption characteristics. It can quickly volatilize the sweat on the base layer to keep the body dry and comfortable by using the large mesh ventilation characteristics of the fabric!

Q2: Is it hot to wear a base layer and a cycling jersey in summer?

Intuitively think that more layers will simply make you hotter in the sunshine, but in fact a base layer will actually keep your cooler in the heat. Due to the functional characteristics of the sweatshirt, it can keep the skin sweat absorbed or volatilized quickly, keep the skin dry and pores unobstructed, and make the body drier, so it won't make much difference in summer, but it will make the body feel more comfortable!

Q3. What are the suitable seasons and occasions for wearing base layer?

A: it is suitable all year round. It can sweat and absorb moisture, So for cold or moderate temperatures, the goal of a base layer is to keep you dry by moving the moisture away from the skin. When we get to warmer temperatures the goal is to actively cool the body, keep the body dry, in a word, it is to keep the balance of body water and temperature. In addition to cycling, running, football, mountaineering and so on can be used as sports sweat underwear.

Customer suggested size

‘In theory, sweat transfer away from the body could be done directly by the outside layer – the jersey – but it is important to realize that this task translates into complex technical requirements for a garment, so a highly DAREVIE cycling jersey – the base layer – can have a competitive advantage over a “generalist” garment such as a jersey, which also has other requirements to fulfill.
