This product is a lot of 1 each of the 1965, 1966, and 1967 United States Mint uncirculated Special Mint Sets (3 individual sets that consists of 15 coins total).  These mint sets were issued during the mid-1960's coin shortage in lieu of Proof Sets.

Each year of this complete three-year collection is housed in its original government packaging and includes a Kennedy half dollar in 40% silver, a Washington quarter, a Roosevelt dime, a Jefferson nickel, and a Lincoln penny.  The 1965 set is in the original unopened envelope as delivered from the mint.   A photo of an open envelope was used to exemplify the contents of the unopened envelope.

Special Mint Set coins were produced without mint marks.  However, all were struck at the San Francisco Mint and have a special finish which is brighter and shinier than most circulating coins from those years.  However, they do not have the brilliant, mirrored surfaces of true "proof' coins.

Free USPS Ground Advantage Shipping within the contiguous United States is included in the price.
