You are bidding on an unpainted blank fiberglass reproduction of a 10" ATLANTIC FLYING FISH .  ( I can also finish and paint this for extra , ask for price )

Nice addition to add to a tuna or billfish mount .

First picture shows what the finished fish will look like. All blanks are two sided .

This fish blank is custom made to order and includes the fins so it will take a few days to make depending upon the weather .

Like many other flyingfishes, the Atlantic flyingfish has a cylindrical body, and large tail and pectoral fins that it uses for flight. If a predator, such as a tuna, attacks from below, the flyingfish will beat its powerful forked tail rapidly, spread its “wings” at the last moment, and lift clear of the surface away from danger.  

It then takes to the air, sometimes reaching heights over 4 feet (1.2 meters) and gliding long distances, up to 655 feet (200 meters).

You will be getting the fish as it comes out of the mold . All you need to do is wash in warm water to remove the green PVA mold release , then use tin snips or a hack saw and trim the excess flange off the blank , sand the seams , cut out and install fins ,and paint .
