Vintage 1960s H. B. Egan “Bonded Rubber Repair Kit” Advertising Tin! with Contents!

Up for auction is a Vintage “Bonded Rubber Repair Kit” Advertising Tin! This vintage tire patch kit was made by the H. B. Egan Manufacturing Company in Muskogee, Oklahoma back in the 1960s! It is an cylindrical cardboard container with a tin bottom and matching tin lid with a grating surface. The container measures about 4¼” tall x 2” diameter. It even includes the original vintage H. B. Egan rubber cement tube, rubber patches, and a partial rubber strip inside. The tin has classic red and white advertising graphics featuring the Bonded logo on its front and directions on the back. As shown in the photos, the container is in very good condition for its age with nice bright colors and sharp details. It displays well with some normal surface wear and light soiling, including a few small marks and light scuffs or scratches. There is some surface oxidation on the tin top as shown, and the interior and bottom tin surfaces are still shiny. The contents inside may have dried or cracked due to their age. This vintage Bonded Rubber Repair Kit would make a great addition to your collection!

Thank you for your business! Every item I sell is guaranteed to be as described, and I do everything possible to provide 5 STAR service. If you are satisfied, please leave 5 Star positive feedback. If you are not fully pleased, let me know if there is anything I can do to improve the transaction before leaving any feedback. Almost all items are vintage: they were purchased at estate sales/auctions, yard/garage sales or flea markets, and are sold “as found”; the history of previous ownership and storage conditions of the items is unknown, and I have no idea if a previous owner smoked or had pets. I do not accept returned items simply because you’ve changed your mind. Shipping & Handling charges are not refundable. Attention International Customers: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s Customs Office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as “gifts” since US and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
