For sale in our store is a rare and unique coffee/tea pot set with 6 matching cups and saucers. The complete set has a chocolate brown glossy finish similar to Montmouth Western Stoneware, Hull and McCoy pottery. This set may have been made before the merger with Western Stoneware in the early 1900's where the Maple Leaf logo was from Montmouth and it was carried on with Western Stoneware after the merger. 

The coffee pot and mugs are smaller than normal which could also indicate an older age as back in the day there was a shortage of tea and coffee making them very expensive so that not as much was made per servings. The lid of the coffee pot has no lip on it.

The coffee/tea pot as well as each of the cups has the word coffee in raised letters and a raised maple leaf LOGO which was created by not finishing that area, no color or glaze. Very beautiful!

The coffee pot looks used on the inside but the set looks like it has spent most of its days in a cabinet and not for everyday use.

Although the maker and date of manufacturer is unknown the craftsmanship is high quality. 

"Excellent pre-owned condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There are some minor factory flaws, 2 of the cups have a small area on their base which is a little sharp and may need to be filed off, see last picture."

Each cup measures approximately:
6 cm's (2 3/8 inches) height

Each of the 6 saucers have a diameter of 11.5 cm's (4 1/2 inches)
