Presented is a wonderful pair of International sterling silver handle dinner knives. These knives are made in the desirable Frontenac pattern, which was patented in 1903. True to the patent date, this is a lovely Art Nouveau pattern featuring flowing, richly detailed floral decoration on the handle. These particular knives are true dinner size, and have stainless steel blades in the “New French' shape. Please note, we have additional Frontenac knives in this size as well as luncheon size, so please let us know if you wish to purchase more than a pair.

These knives are in pristine mint condition. The lot came to use with many of the knives still wrapped in their original plastic packaging, and even the ones unwrapped look unused, likely just unwrapped for photography or display. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Each knife is stamped on the side with I.S. for International Silver as well as sterling and H.H., for “hollow handle.”

Each knife is about 9 5/8 inches long.

The total weight for the pair is about 165 grams or 5.8 regular ounces. Due to the stainless blades, not all this weight is sterling silver.
