Description

An Antique Chinese Export Red Lacquer Sewing or Work Box, Octagonal with a domed top, the exterior covered all round in well executed Oriental scenes.

The interior with lidded compartments with fine painted decoration and various Bone Sewing accessories.

The exterior is a very dark red Lacquer and the interior is black Lacquer.

19th Century.

Condition

Age related wear and some small losses to the lacquer. No Key.
