DESCRIPTION:

This is a beautiful antique French hallmarked sterling silver muff chain.  It has hallmarks on the end link and the Boar’s Head mark on the clasp - see photos.  The chain measures approx 55-½ inches long (27-¾ inches when doubled) and about ¼ inch wide.  It has normal wear and tarnish - I see one link that has part of a squiggle missing and one of the center dots that is off center.  The clasp works properly and has a nice spring to it.  It weighs 31.0 grams.
