B-25s And The Final Toast WWII Bomber DVD

The iconic B-25 Mitchell twin engine medium bomber was made famous on April 18th 1942 when 16 of them flew off an aircraft carrier to bomb Japan - the Doolittle Raid. This raid was the first strike against the Japanese homeland and although the raid caused comparatively minor damage, it demonstrated that the Japanese mainland was vulnerable to American air attacks. It served as an initial retaliation for the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, and provided an important boost to American morale.
