David Haig is a versatile British actor born on September 20, 1955, in Aldershot, England. He began his acting career in the early 1980s, with a strong focus on stage performances. Haig's talent was recognized with an Olivier Award for Best Actor in 1988 for his role in "Our Country's Good." He has since appeared in numerous stage productions, including "The Madness of George III," "Mary Poppins," and "Guys and Dolls."


Haig's screen career has been equally successful, with notable roles in popular TV series such as "Killing Eve"  "The Thin Blue Line" and "Penny Dreadful." His film credits include "Four Weddings and a Funeral," "Florence Foster Jenkins," and "My Boy Jack," in which he also wrote the screenpla
