It's an old Kay electric guitar. It's from about 1960, I'd reasonably guess. It has a huge lower bout: a bit over 17".

Double-line Kluson Deluxe tuners. One Hershey bar pickup. It's a repair project.

The tone pot is broken; the shaft can be pulled out. The control knob set screws are missing. I suspect the knobs aren't original, as they don't seem to fit.  The bridge isn't original. As it is, it has quite high action, between 5/64" and 6/64" at the 12th fret. The pickup works, but isn't very loud. It's missing the neck heel cap. It's missing the end pin (strap button). It's missing the strap button on the neck heel: just the hole is there. The frets have some wear, but they still have life left.

The bridge isn't original, but is properly set to the top. An adjustable bridge is included, but isn't set to the top.

It has significant lacquer finish wear all over. It has scratches and scuffs.

The old boy I got it from used to play it in bars around Zanesville, Ohio back in the early 1960s. Before that, he was in the Army, based in the Marshall Islands. He was there for the hydrogen bomb tests on Enewetak Island, 10 miles away. When the bombs went off, he could see right through his hand like an x-ray.

It's a repair project. Who wants to bring it back to musical life.
