You are bidding on an outstanding lot of items from the graduating class of Long Beach Poly High School in 1929!  These were carefully removed from a period scrapbook of a longtime Long Beach resident named Orval Elder.  In this amazing lot you will receive a perfectly preserved LBPHS graduation announcement, with beautiful inked printing by T.V. Allen, Los Angeles Printing Company that comes with the original vellum envelope.  Note the envelope was removed from the scrapbook and has some minor flaws.  Also included is item number 2, a Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits baseball letterman's letter.  It too was removed from the scrapbook and has suffered some moth damage over the past 80 years, but is certainly in a stable condition now.  It has small glue marks on the back where it was removed from the book.  Finally, a small Poly felt pennant with the letters L.B. and a gold bow on it - the letters are all sewn stitched on and it is an amazing bit of Poly history.  I am offering this incredible and one of a kind lot together.  It will make an great display or memory for a Long Beach, California historian or family member.  Please contact me with any questions.
