W. H. Illingworth traveled with Custer and the 7th Cavalry during their 1874 Expedition to the Black Hills. He recorded history by taking photographs of the journey. He issued approximately 50 stereoviews and sold them in sets. This one is number 801 Camp at Hiddenwood Creek. These views and the story of the trip are in " Exploring with Custer...the 1874 Black Hills Expedition" by Grafe and Horsted.  The 7th camped here on July 20 and 21.  It's interesting  to see the layout of the camp. Tents are rowed up along the creek and wagons are set up in a parking lot.  There is a tent in lower part of photo separated from the rest , maybe a discipline problem.  Free shipping  USPS ground with tracking.
