The body is in good, stable and sturdy condition. It's a well made sofa and there are no signs of weakness.

However there are some marks on the upholstery. I have tried to remove these with soapy water but haven't had any luck. You might have better luck, especially if you are prepared to take off the covers and put in the washing machine. However I did this once ages ago and it's very difficult to get them back on afterwards! But it is possible.

The sofa looks best when dressed with throws/cushions etc as illustrated in the photos.

The covers of the seat and back cushions have all been dyed a darker blue. 

The legs are removable, and the sofa itself can be split into two sections - you will be able to move this through narrow doors and up flights of stairs easily.

The back pads are filled with down and the seat pads are foam.

It is quite a firm sofa.

The overall length is 252cm. The chaise section is 150cm long (from back of sofa to end of chaise). Chaise section is 80cm wide. Height of entire sofa is 63cm. Width of sofa section is 86cm.
