This is a blue/navy Seiko Timetron model W853-4000. I purchased this from a seller in Japan a few years ago as-is. It did not come with the box, papers, or the original strap (the original straps are notorious for getting brittle and falling apart). I cleaned the watch up and popped a battery in it, and it worked great. There was a strange issue with a couple of the pixels disappearing after I would wear it for a couple of hours (maybe body heat affecting the display?). However since I've installed a new battery into it, I haven't noticed this issue. So it may or may not have been the older battery, but I can't guarantee that the previous battery was the issue. Otherwise it works great. All functions work as intended and the backlight is nice and bright.
The case has some slight wear on it, as you can see from the photos. But overall I would consider it to be in good condition. All of the buttons work properly without sticking, and the crystal is still nice and clean.
Since it didn't come with the original strap, I bought a blue Uncle Seiko rubber strap and cut it to fit the small lugs on this. The color of the strap is very close to the color of the watch case.
This is a rare and sought after watch because of its cool retro design and display. I've enjoyed it very much but I'm ready to let it go to a new home.
